With the release of the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms* (CSP) it’s official: We are a “Visionary”! A bold step in our Magic Quadrant history.
The newly developed Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms is an evolution of the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management. It factors in market developments that have paved the way for the emergence of enterprise content management under the influence of the cloud, file sync & share, collaboration, and analytics, which has instigated a more complex approach to content services.
A visionary content services platform
The strengths of our Doxis4 solution and its Content Service Bus go hand in hand with Gartner’s requirements for a contemporary content services platform. SER bases its platform approach on a state-of-the-art software solution that has been modular and multitentant-capable already for several years now. It’s no surprise that Gartner’s definition of content services platforms aligns closely with our vision and mission of connecting people, products and processes with information and facilitating collaboration and file sync & share on the same platform.
More and more, customers demand a software solution that covers all areas of content services. SER has listened and responded with the Doxis4 iRoom, where collaboration and file sharing are integral parts of the Doxis4 solution. Both internal teams and external parties can work on the same files and content at any time and from any location. This “unified platform ” approach differentiates Doxis4 significantly from the split ECM and EFSS platforms prevalent in the market right now.
Strengths of Doxis4
Gartner draws attention to SER’s “strong track record in developing advanced technologies and simplified user interfaces for its CSP platform, as well as in market expansion (as witnessed by strong revenue growth).” SER’s reference customers touted the usability of Doxis4 and “the ease and speed of piloting and deploying the SER platform when using its native capabilities and services.”
Morad Rhlid, Managing Director of SER Solutions International, comments, “We believe that our integrated, cross-functional approach of a unified platform, where enterprise content management, business process management and collaboration are based on the same content and metadata, reflects today’s requirements and builds the core of our success. Our customers’ trust and our expertise from over 2,000 successful international projects make SER a key player in the global content services platforms landscape.”
Moreover, SER offers a wide range of vertical and horizontal solution templates, e.g. for accounts payable, banking, manufacturing, insurance providers and more. All of them are based on Doxis4’s Content Service Bus, providing customers even more convenient access to relevant content and process services.
